- Define goals and objectives; our goal was to make a mechanism that would not break the egg when dropped. Objectives were to use the specified amount of tape and straws and position it effectively within the required time period.
- Determine current status compared to objectives; knowing that some of us were more careful and some were better at drawing and planning out, we used these resources effectively. Weaknesses were a lack of engineering background or seeing the objects in front of us, making completing the task somewhat difficult.
- Develop premises and several alternative strategies; we did not really make alternative arrangements because of the lack of time and lack of very good alternatives that we may have come up with.
- Analyze alternatives and make a tactical plan; we allocated job roles of me holding and dropping the egg and holding the tape while others were cutters of straws, etc. And we chose our original blueprint to go by and altered it to make it easier for our plan to succeed.
- Implement the plan and evaluate results; our egg cracked, so we did not reach our objective. We were very close but if we had more effectively tested the experiment and changed the strength of our design, there may have been a better result

Culture Shock
I was born in a small town in Ukraine during the time of the Soviet Union. As a jewish family, my family was always persecuted and left as soon as the regime fell and we were able to get to America. I observe American culture all around me, even with my immediate family. But when I visit grandparents or have a big family dinner, I see the differences from the typical New York City household. First of all, drinking is a must, whether man woman or child over 15, you must drink and say cheers. This is a very important part of our gettogethers, with toast's said regularly. Otherwise we play with children, eat cold food and salads before hot and we watch T.V. somewhat. Perhaps the foods are different, more bland, although I myself would never eat them as compared to the sushi or burgers I adore. The culture of America is hard to divine, its so mixed with other cultures that I cannot even say what is usual or unusual, however, my household and extended family makes up one part of the vast cultural richness of the United States.

Who I am

Hey all,
My name is Greg, I'm a Junior majoring in Finance. Currently working hard to figure out which area of Finance I want to go into. Doing research on both the market and job descriptions in different big firms and boutique firms. Other than that, I am 20 years old and I enjoy rapping, watching my favorite tv shows and catching new movies. Spending time with my friends and girlfriend are also a plus.
I am often forgetful, as doing this assignment late has shown; however when I need to be, I work very hard. There's not much more I can think of right now but if you want to get to know me better come talk to me... I look like this:
Sure, thats a quite good picture and all, but I didn't want to leave you with a bad first impression (you know, if I put a weird face picture)
That's all I got, see you in class.
